Epic-W Montior Lag

Hey All,

Wondering if anyone else ever has this problem.

Epic-W with DSMC2 RED TOUCH 7.0" LCD, the non-cable one.

Almost every time the camera is still, all works well. But if I change the frame, for instance, pan, tilt, or zoom, the screen freezes for a second or two before jumping to where-ever it should be in the move. This happens whether recording or not. It is not a deal breaker but can be kind of annoying when shooting the tearful interview. The recording is fine, it is just monitoring. Anybody else experiencing this?

When you use Automatic Sensor Calibration the camera every so often is attempting to apply the most appropriate calibration. Usually I think in 7-9 second intervals. This is what causes the pause.

You will notice that there is no lag if you use the traditional and much quicker to run Manual Sensor Calibration.

Seems like the auto calibration isn't quite ready for its time in the spotlight. Hope they can work out the kinks soon!

Hmm, but when reaching a stable working temperature then it no issue, right? Or thats what I felt camera is a bit slow on them monitor at times when turning it on but seems fine after awhile.
