  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC stage 3...list

Deposit has been paid on 19XX, formerly known as XXXX. R-1 is ready to be returned to RED.

cam 524 deposit was sent on the 17th- too many project to post here until now! Can't wait for our epic.

I am thankful for Stage 3 offer that we have the option for which I have paid deposit and executed for #3002 Red One. It's a fantastic and amazing thing they've done for us that are eligible for Stage 3. I have RED One till I get my email to send the camera back in. I do understand your feelings though.

For those Scarlet owners I'm certain they are over the moon with excitement. As I will be when EPICX arrives in my hands.

Better take #791 off this list.

We just make feature films, and since we're 99% finished with our second feature and won't be filming our third until 2013, coupled with the fact that we just don't have a spare $15,000 or so to invest just now, means that there really is both no reason and no ability for us to move up to the Epic at this point.

We'll definitely buy an Epic (with the RED Dragon sensor) to shoot our third film with, but that won't be until 2013.

We'll still have our MX, but we won't be able to join the Epic parade.

It's sad, really. . .

. . . and it pains me to type it. . .

. . . but I thought you should just know the truth: #791 won't be upgrading.

Really hate to see you miss out on all the loyalty modules. But I'm sure you've put the pencil to it every way possible. G'luck going forward.
 
Trust me, Elsie. . . I feel very badly about it. . . it's just that I don't have the coin to make it work now, and I don't have project to film until 2013.

I tried to find a local partner to go in with me in buying it (a 1/3 ownership position), but he wanted 1/2, and I didn't want to let that much of it go.

So, having exhausted all my opportunities, I reluctantly had to make the sacrifice.

But, you're right. . . it certainly hurts.

Yeah, it looks like the Epic assembly line may get to take some time off for the holidays.:shocked:
 
#2973 registered for EPIC last week.

Heck, I gotta pay for my EPIC-X somehow!!!

Coud you tell me please what does it mean? You press on the button "Buy now" (5000) then recived e-mail that Stage 3,5 is reserved and need to wait e-mail from RED and then after a few days you get e-mail about necessity to make deposit?

Yes. After to hit the "Buy now" button you will receive an email (Rush-Order). RED will contact you. How you want to pay the deposit. Credit Card or Wire Transfer...
