  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC Reservations Begin...

Here's hoping Red One #378 is called up soon for its M-X upgrade, otherwise there may not be enough time between the two to make it worthwhile....

Yes, but we may sell it on the second hand market here, at which point it's really down to the buyer to choose.

Odds are we'll get called up shortly anyway (we are literally in the next email blast as our camera was delivered 14th Feb 2008 and they are up to 8th Feb 2008 deliveries).

sanjin, i do hope you get that upgrade soon. we all appreciate the useful, ongoing tests you run - certainly with the dedication and turn-around time with them.

I received an order number and confirmation of deposit, both online during the process and later via email, but I paid for it right away.

If you haven't yet paid, maybe that's why. If you have paid, I would look into it.

does anyone know when the reservation goes through?

is it enough if it says "thank you for your order?"

If you did not get an order confirmation email with a nine digit confirmation number, you did not complete order process.

Fairly soon we will list all of the available trade-in and upgrade options for RED ONE owners. Then we will ask for a decision. This program will not open-ended forever.

I received an automated email and then my bomb squad rep sent me a personal confirmation the next day.

If you're worried, send the order number to your bomb rep to confirm.
 
After my order I was routed to a

site with a 9-digit number, but didn't receive a mail from you. Should I worry?

I didn't get the email either but I talked to brent and my order was in the system. As long as you have that 9 digit order number,I'm pretty sure that you're fine.
 
Our auto-emails get caught up in junk folders a lot. Just send your BOMB SQUAD rep your confirmation number if you want to double-check.

this is my first post on reduser. I just read through all 40 pages to see if my question was answered, but didnt see it, so I am gonna ask.

I don't own a RED, was going to buy one, but then saw the Epic was coming out. I'm just assuming non RED owners have to wait for the Epic to be shipped to everyone on the upgrade list before we get a chance to purchase right?

I will admit, I just skimmed the last 10 pages, I was getting tired, so if the question has been answered, I apologize.

Hi Ian, and welcome to Reduser. Yes, RED takes their customer loyalty seriously and rewards the early adapters by giving them first shot at their new cameras. Having said that, RED has said that they'll be able to ramp up production much better than last time.

I can't possibly log in, tried every email that could be known by RED, including those that work to log me in in the RED website. What to do?

did you change your password recently? It happened to me that after changing my password on my account I could only sign in with the old password on the upgrade page but the new password on my account
 
Hi Michael, yeah something like that. I no longer have the email address that I first purchased my RED One with, I asked RED to change that but it never happened or just half or so. Then I tried to change it on the RED website but it's all quite confusing.
