Now that playback is here, I have a small feature request to consider for Epic firmware :

when have some saved presets in camera would it be possible to have a simple way of restoring them when doing a firmware upgrade...

- save all in-camera preset to the SSD before applying the upgrade / force upgrade
- after upgrade is done and camera restarted, display a dialog asking if saved presets on disk should be re-imported.

I understand if preset format changes it might not be possible... but if it is something doable and not yet on the to-do list...

Another related idea... when formatting a drive in camera, could it be possible to detect any preset saved on the disk, put them in temp memory and write them back after erase of the SSD ?

All of this can be done manually now (save to SSD, copy on computer, restore to disk, reload in camera...) but when going to release then alpha or beta upgrades it would be super useful to be able to keep presets whenever possible... The Red One SD card was great for this kind of permanent settings vault but we now longer have it on the DSMC system.

The purpose of "force_upgrade" is to intentionally remove any previous settings.
This is generally safest when upgrading builds.

If you don't want to do a force upgrade, rename the folder to "upgrade" and
it'll upgrade without removing the previous settings.

If you're doing a major revision upgrade, like going from 1.7 to 2.0 or vice versa, I'd recommend doing a force upgrade each direction and not restoring older presets.
