IMHO the cam is production-ready, even though I see that it will probably become even better over the next few months.

i would have no qualms putting in the middle of a large (or small) production as it is.

It would just be a great enhancement compared to... well anything...

So excited for you! Sounds like a good niche!

Hello John,

Just wondering if the new "Dragonned" REDCINE-X is ready for production and your customers...? ;-)

I'm a bit impatient to see how fast it can get on GPU!

Pat

John,

Might you be going to IBC next week? I will be there for a few days and would love to compare Dragon notes over a beer.....

Cheers,

Peter

Looks like I'll be at IBC either Monday 16th or Tuesday 17th.

@Patrick : One of the 'strings' attached right now is that RCX for Dragon is still a closed book - however we can process footage for people, and public versions are not long away.

its as though adobe read this and released one workflow solution immediately lol!

CC Dragon support was only "announced" so far, should be released in october they say...

Updated: PL and Canon motion mounts here... Redrocket X too.

A few holes in our schedule currently, so dont be shy: Dragon rental starts from only £650/day.

Currently week commencing 25th November is still clear for rental. £650/day gets you a nice little shooting kit :)

Plenty of toys to support Dragon here too, including a newly arrived Matthews DC slider - a great companion to Dragon for getting a lot done with a small setup.
