  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC is alive...

I just heard that Jim died on a shoot and came to see this.. I was speechless about the loss, and I remain speechless to see an Epic. This is..well.. epic. Screw that girly cam called whatever ;)

Depends what your doing of course, but a single REDVOLT battery will last anywhere between 40-60minutes (in motion mode). a RED BRICK will last about 3 hours.

Yes, of course about the variability. Sounds cool.

May I ask, knowing that as of March the 4th...

...current prototypes are starting up in 15 seconds and we think a reasonable target for production cameras is about 10 seconds.

...how fast is the current bootup time from off to on, as well as standby to on?

Boot up time is at 12 seconds right now.. from completely off to monitor up and being able to Record.

Wow:) So long is every day now:). Interesting how close this Epic prototype to final issue which will be released I hope this year. It is good if we see the final version.

hope to have one soon. what is the average time between alive and sending out 3000 cams...

3 Hours!!! Jarred you made my day!!! I was dreaming to be capable to keep my Red One running all the time for my wildlife shoots. Now with Epic and my Red Bricks will be a reality. Thank you very much!!

...definitely the best NAB in years!

Congrats! and from my lumbar vertebrae (5Lbs.) THANKS.
