  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Please let me know if you find a bug or got an issue... It has been tested on a few different configs but certainly not on every mac and / or every R3Ds possible ...

Just a question: is there any chance to modify how the date is created in the folder? i.e: day/month/year instead of the current way? year/month/day . .

Yes I should add this an option or read system settings to write date/time accordingly.

In fact in France we also use DD/MM/YYYY so I'll look into adding it as an option for the next foolcat release... I need to investigate a bit as I think some countries may also use YYYY/MM/DD or some other exotic flavor :-)

Mikael, great app, thanks. One thing I'm missing is the ability to scrub through the clips - not every clip has the slate as the 1st frame so I can easily copy the scene number / take etc. Would also be good for checking the clip and adding meta data in general...
 
Yes I plan on adding this in a future release but as I just received the RED SDK recently it will take me a bit of time to understand it all and make a proper 'foolplayer' to review footage and add metadata...

But with the recent addition of EPIC/SCARLET proxies in QT component I'll see how I can add a quick 'preview' window in the next release to allow playback of clips while adding metadatas...
