  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC accessories from ActionProducts

...sooo...as you seem to be finished with the epic/scarlet electrical accessories, it`s time to move on with the ac raptors - my money is waiting for you, guys... ;)

Its basically done - just finalizing optimal production. We hope to be introducing it within the next few months ... really can't say much more right now ....

The Proteus has the run/stop integrated. We will be offering different cables to use it (the fischer RS is planed to be one of them).

Hi Brian.

Would love it if the Electra would accept Arri style RS momentary run/stop triggers through the 24V port and trigger the Epic's 3.3V run/stop. I know it'd be yet another board to cram in there but it would solve a lot of issues for us...

I'm not sure if the IDX has the same mounting points - but I sure we could customize it for you you if you want to. Just let me know.

- As long as the backplate doesn't stick out on the back - it will work.

- The Proteus doesn't have a BNC connector - do you mean the Apollo?

Hi a couple questions.

1.) I'm thinking of going with the proteus I have a IDX V-Mount batter plate that I would like to mount to it. Is this possible?
2.) I also plan to use the wooden camera Easy Top, do you know if this fits with the proteus?
3.) What direction and side is the HD-SDI BNC adapter on the proteus? If we are using the proteus as the main video out, I would like to make sure it will suffice.

Thanks in Advance

The attachment point is for a swivel. To this swivel you can attach various plates. From our SwapPack to our battery module (for the electra) etc. We will soon be showing some detailed photos. Of course you can also use the razor with 19mm rods and mount any rod based batter mount to it.

May I also chime in with several previous posts to ask:

How do batteries attach to RAZOR??
Images appreciated!
I see there is an attachment point at the back of the RAZOR but it is not apparent to me what interface you can mount to this to then attach a battery plate to...
This information is basically all I am waiting for to commit to buying a RAZOR

Thanks Brian! ExActly what i needed to know! Think I'm gonna go with that kind of set up! Razorshoulder to arri uni plate to red QR. now i have to decide whether to get the regular epic QR plate and your audio riser, or just get REd's assault plate. I'm leaning towards your product here :)

Thanks for reply Daryl - searched "SwapPack"on your site - nothing came up. :(
Looking forward to seeing some demo photos.

... new SwapPack (not online yet). Features:

- its electronically controlled now. What means you can use it with one battery (shows when the new battery needs to be mounted) and two batteries that can be of different type/charge level. The mount automatically notices which battery is more charged and drains first power from it.
- the mount doesn't come with a cable anymore but with two connectors - one for Camera power and the other (on the other side) for accessories
- camera connector provides camera power and accessory power.
- accessorie connector provided accessory power and passthrough (connect a extra mount to power accessories separately though the main connector).
- the mount is now available for 12V and 12/24 (with downconverter for 12V accessories running when in 24V mode)
- two D-Taps (both always 12V and always under power even when only one battery is mounted)

We provede separate cables for the mount. Epic ... REDone ... XLR ... Arri .....

Available for V-Mount (battery information) and AB

More detailed information and pricing soon ...

Looks nice! Still not showing how it attaches to the RAZOR so would be great if THAT option is illustrated when you post to your site.
AND-
whatever the attachment _mechanism_ is (bracket/clamp/whatever) - if you offer that separately to allow RAZOR owners to attach their own Battery plates...

As far as the know specifications for the scarlet - basically everything that will work for the epic should work for the scarlet.

Forgot to mention the baseplate and audio covers as well, will the fit on the scarlet smoothly or will you be designing new products for that camera line in that case?

Thanks a bunch!

I Love the new Swap Pack design, really nice. It should ease the camera balance on sticks and on shoulder.

What about battery communication with Scarlet/Epic ?
Any V-lock battery will work ?
I think I'll buy either IDX Endura 10S or PAG L95e...if it works.

Hey guys, any word on the Swap Pack? I have the old one and love it, the new one looks like it has some features that would worth the upgrade. I'd be after the AB version.

Please give us some news as soon as you can guys !
Sorry to insist but, what about battery communication with the camera ?
thanks
