DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate and Side Plate for Weapon?

Guys,
I'll probably missed the info on this but is there any DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate in the oven?
Also, as my Weapon arrived with the Sidekick already mounted, is there any option to cover the port when not using it?

Curious, why would you take of the side kick and leave it of the side if you got nothing else to put there?
The thing weight just about the same as a ping pong ball so why take it of?

When using it in a water housing to capture action, I'd like to avoid the Sidekick to take a beating and I'd rather remove it.

I just ordered the ET cheese plate that replaces it. Haven't gotten it yet but looks cool.

I got the Cheese plate from ET that goes where the Sidekick was, love it. I probably won't use my sidekick much in the future, I don't really se the need if I have a touch screen. I fact I'm going to be selling one of my sidekicks.

Yeah, don't care much for the green. Wooden Camera will have something similar at NAB. Their weapon battery plates are pretty kick ass too. The Blushape one looks amazing.
