Anamorphic De-squeeze back in Scarlet :)

Great to see 5k Anamorphic mode added for Scarlet Dragon! And the modular OLPF support! Do you have an ETA for the modular upgrade yet?

There's a few thing in here that are "new". Is there a new beta build around the corner?

Nice! Solid enhancements. Is the new OLPF noise floor calibration in this release?

Shawn, they have gone with a post solution, called D.E.B., to address the red noise.
Hmm, am I mistaken? For months I've been anxiously waiting on a build that was supposed to feature a new camera side calibration of the new OLPF to bring about cleaner iso. Right now everyone I know is shooting iso500 on the Dragon to get it to look roughly like iso800 on MysteriumX.

The new calibration was not going to lower the noise floor, just remove the red noise. Instead they decided to do it in post for now while they refine it. The tool is currently in RCX beta.

The only thing that will lower the noise floor is the low light OLPF. Formerly known as OLPF v1.

edit: when I say lower the noise floor, I mean the same thing as cleaner ISO. (:

That's not how I understood it at all. For months I thought we were promised a new camera side calibration. I'd love an official answer about whether there is still an upcoming build featuring new OLPF calibrations on the camera side.

Btw, not trying to be negative, I'm extremely happy about this build that just came. I'm just trying to see if *the* build I've been waiting on since I got my Dragon is out or if it's still coming, or if Stacey is right and that build is canceled? Is 'get a new OLPF' really the only answer that'll enable me to shoot iso above 1000 on the new olpf? Will New OLPF Dragon ever be noticeably less noisy than MX?

Thanks Jarred.

Can you explain what the goal post fix involved? Curious if I need to re-evaluate the data it shows...

Yay for new firmware! Ugh.. now to rob a bank so I can upgrade to Epic Dragon lol.
