  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DSMC Camera Firmware release 5.1.55 and 5.2.21 beta

When is 5.2 going to become a release build? It has so many good features that I want to use but I don't want to put beta builds on my cameras.

+1, particularly if there is, as now seems likely extra processing power required. Several of us have the RRX option.

Just put the Firmware on our Camera. Release version.

Under "Color/Gamma" am I supposed to be able to get DragonColor as an option?

I currently only see "REDcolor 2," "REDcolor 3" for Color Space and "REDgamma2," "REDgamma3" and "REDlogfilm."

Its in the beta version.

This comes up so many times, maybe the Fimware versions should be titled, with DC/RG4 +,-

The beta version is from May. The release version is from early this month, so I went "release" version.

DEB is available, for the Beta and Release versions of generated footy, on my MBr, CineX 31.

No, DRAGON footage from non beta can also be debayered with DEB using latest beta REDCINE-X

FWIW :
Latest beta 5.2.21 is from July 11th
Latest release 5.1.58 from Aug 6th

And also titled 'with REDLink bridge / RCP support' :-)

Will, David from RED already said you need to disable your RRX for this to work. Is does not currently work with RRX...
