The wedding event photographers I know are anxiously waiting for scarlet.
Count me in, and yes another 3 event videographers from my town too.
No more new camcorder until Scarlet out.
Probably no more new camera until DSMC out wow!

I have successfully traced GuyB's network IP addresss... to the Sony PR headquarters building in New York.

I will also say that or DSMC is the most beautiful thing we have done. Maybe the "most desirable object in the world".
Jim
Please just make enough of them so we don't have the same waiting times as RED ONE.
Hi Jim,Just so you know, I own a D3 and a 1Ds MKIII...
Jim
Just because of this new feature, I'd never buy it.
I'd never buy an SLR without an optical viewfinder unless a digital one would be exactly like what I would see in an optical one, meaning I would mistake one for the other.
The article focuses on the size reduction which is not a problem to me for an SLR.
1.44 Megapixel would be interesting to check out though. That would be a first if pixels were suddenly as precise as a lens.
If the resolution of the digital view finder is very high, and there is no noticeable latency it would be great. Seeing DOF and exposure in the viewfinder is a big plus IMO.
Does it have a cup holder? If not then I cannot use it!![]()
Yeah, like the kind that pops out when you push the button on front of your computer?.
