  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dragon....

Does anyone know if the Scarlet Dragon will be sold at some point? It would be great for upcoming red users
 
Well technically they haven't even said they will ever retail such a product outside of the upgrade program so its all up in the air. Personally I think Epics warranty with the later ability to go full Dragon is the way to go...
 
Is the Dragon Drama still going on guys? Can one of the responsible millionaires or billionaires of this company answer when exactly a dragon footage will be shared with their honest and hopeless customers?
 
Dragons are out of the lab and now in the hands of trained professionals. Early reviews are off the chart great. I'm sure footage and comparisons will start showing up soon. :-)

One major league production was going to shoot EPIC MX for everything except the "wide vistas"... and use 6K Dragon on those. After viewing his tests... the project will go 100% Dragon. It is a 20 camera shoot.

Darius Wolski, Inez and Vinoodh, Chris Probst, Peter Jackson + Andrew Lesnie, , Michael Bay and Amir and Peter Collister all have wielded the Dragon. Toia is up to bat next.

Most of these guys priority with the Dragon isn't to take "marketing" images.. they are shooting tests or footage for their current or next films.

But don't worry... im sure a few people like Toia are gonna have a hard time keeping footage to themselves :)

Dang, I was hoping for something like Milk Girls with the Dragon Tattoo as a big Red Dragon demo this time. Well, it's up for the guys, I guess. Desert and windy weather is fine too. ;)

I really would have preferred a Red colored SSD in that Dragon slot. Would really like to know if there is any problem with the 512 GB SSD.
