  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dragon Takes Flight...

Great stuff. I'm sure this is something that needs to be seen on the big screen just to see all of the detail in these shots, at a Vimeo 1080 you can still see a lot in them.

Awesome! Extremely impressive...
In fact you guys have inspired me greatly with this li'l video... & since i've been considering to do some aerial work here in India, i wish to bother you guys for some advice very soon. Hope that'll be ok, Nathan?

Once again, well done!

Jeetu, I would love to come out and do some aerial work with you in India! Send me a PM and lets get the ball rolling.

I can not describe in words how proud it makes me to read these posts and watch this footage. truly amazing nathan i am so stoked for you and all that you have accomplished. my heart is beaming with joy over the camera, your choice for what to shot first with it and how well executed it is. glad to know you brother, keep it going and don't forget about the little people.

DINO!!! Thanks for the amazing kind words!!!! It brought tears to my eyes reading this, especially coming from you, thank you!!!!!

I remember in 07 how excited i was that you invited me to come on set and see RED 31... And how even more excited I was to hold a hair drying to the cam, haha. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for you Dino, thanks again! Anything you need my friend, let me know!!

Nathan

Nice footage.
But really now... I can't see how 1080 compressed Youtube footage is going to show off that camera.
Still waiting for a direct MX vs Dragon shootout of same scene same lens with r3d's posted. I know Dragon is better. I want to see how much.

Certain reasons why it couldn't be uploaded in 4K (I'm sure you can guess half of them). But, to me, shooting into the sun and keeping the highlights (basically) in check shows off the camera...no matter what compression/resolution.
