  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dragon Skin...

Matt I was using a Schneider Variable ND (2 stacked polas) and I think the panes were plexi-glass.

Ah, sounds about right. Just curious, thank you

now i just need to get home and hope the kids are still gonna sleep... :-)

Evin, you can use my Box.com account if you want. I can put a public download link here once it's uploaded. PM me if you want to go that route.

I can upload a 2.25GB 1080P Prores LT movie if someone wants to lend me the bandwidth. PM me server details.

Can we get any volunteer professional color guys to push your test images to the next level and show us what can be done?

Jake Blackstone comes to mind?

Evin,

Thanks for the work.

Last off I am not a colorist, I'm a DP and I'm sure a professional who works in Resolve every day could do an even better job given how much color info is in there.

What Zeiss lenses, Super Speeds or Master Primes?

The shot at the end, fire dancing man, what FPS were you shooting?

Guys out of courtesy to Red and the fact that this is nascent color science I'm going to ask that you not post or share grades of this image, feel free to play with it on your own but lets wait till Red gets the color science nailed before we start making any assumptions.

Sound good?

Will, "B" super speeds, 96FPS.

Evin,

Is the Dragon sensor more sensitive to low light than the MX? How many stops are we gaining in the darks?

EXCELLENT plan! ;)

What compressionrate was this?

Waiting for that 1080p ProRes LT.
Evin, whenever that upload is ready...you know what to do.

Thanks Evin for all your time into this :)
