Let me give you example from another camera.A camera does 3840 x 2160 4KUHD 50fps Prores 4444 XQ in according to apple prores whitepaper target data rate for this format is 3318 Mb/s.
Is this faster than Red's data rate?

That's 414.75 MB/s. Red's is 300, so yes, it's faster.

I don't think so, maybe that other camera ain't got that good of a coding algorithms, so it's in heavy need of such a high rate data transfer. :biggrin:

Thank you Anthony, thats what I was looking for or a Wedge chart. Ether way it will end this endless conversation with our producers about what compression to use to equal our Dragon 4K footage from an early part of this documentary were working on.
