As you know DRAGON can store up to 5 black Shading (factory + 4 user presets).

To quickly recall a black shade on set I just created some macro presets for foolcontrol iOS / OS X.
They automatically navigate thru the menu to apply your chosen map from the camera memory.

BlackShade calibration and reloading will hopefully soon be available via the camera menu tree (on a switchblade or in foolcontrol) but until then you can use those handy presets requiring a single click.

instruction included on how to import them in the app.

PS : Not tested on MX. Will have to look into this....

(and sorry for the all caps thread title...)

those are just macros to quickly apply presets you have created in-camera...

not actual black shade maps... just a fast way of recalling your own maps via foolcontrol UI

and afaik technically camera will not apply a BS created on another camera, they are specifically tagged to avoid such mistake

Can Foolcontrol store some calibration maps from our camera ? if they are ID tagged, there should be a way ?
so we could have more than 5.

I would love to be prepared between 40°C to 70°C at any shutter speed.

As of today the calibration maps can only be stored in camera or transferred to SSD, they are not available thru RCP so the only thing I can do remotely is what those macro presets are doing :
recalling a previously created call map from the camera memory.

Hopefuly in the future we will be able to do more, and eventually (if we can read calib map values or store a bunch of them) we could re-apply a cal map depending on temp / shutter settings automatically for each known camera PIN...
