Ever since I can remember first playing with a Still camera, I wished I could actually record Moving images...
But ever since I started recording moving images, I wished that I could have a Still camera...
Today, I need to "WISH" no more, nor do I need to choose for one or an other...
Because today I can have both thanks to a "VISIONARY" that together with an incredible team created a little wonder called DSMC (Digital Still Motion Camera) the "RED EPIC DRAGON"...
Today, I need not to worry anymore about missing the opportunity for a perfect still image, because the Red Epic camera can pull them from the Motion Stream...
Today I need not to worry about resolution been enough, because the new DRAGON sensor offers plenty of...
The DRAGON offers a new and particular series of opportunities in both the worlds of still photography applications, and Motion Picture acquisition, even under the absolute harshest and difficult lighting conditions imaginable, this new camera sensor has now brought us an incredible new tool, were the Red Epic MX, paved the way, yet the Red Epic Dragon takes it to an entirely NEW level, in all fronts, allowing the capture of the finest of details, with fantastic Skin Tones, and a new found array of improved capabilities!!
My only disappointment is that I have been so incredibly busy, and so overwhelmed with the shooting of my first short film "The RED dress" that in wearing so many hats I had no time to also do a proper Fashion Shoot to truly showcase and show off some of what my new most FAVORITE camera in the world... The "RED EPIC DRAGON" can do!!
While "The RED dress", as those that incredibly kindly collaborated to the making of, can testify to, especially my friends in post at Luma Forge, is that does showcase in many fronts how incredible the DRAGON sensor really is, yet I have not EVEN begin to scratch the surface of what I can now do thanks to the DRAGON capabilities, and to this front I am readying to embark in a series of projects that will showcase the AMAZING beyond believe, and a new thread to come later in October will in detail bring news of them...
Yet, since again, "The RED dress" is a short film created to bring an incredibly important and pressing message, and not showcase a Camera... And it was filmed with a particular final grade in mind, and shot with in the mixing of an other incredible sensor form Red, the Monochrome.
My goal is to make sure I will top of what I did in the "Skydive Dubai" project by bringing you the most entertaining 10 minutes Short DocuFilm you have seen... And also work very hard to insure I will show you beauty in my next Fashion Film (and those to follow) like I never have...
I write this new thread, with the promise to bring you Amazing footage, of adventurous and magical Landscapes with incredibly high dynamic range, detail, color, and the most variable shades of light you have ever seen...
The RED EPIC DRAGON... Is to be my new INSEPARABLE companion with whom I will travel the world in search of Imagery wonders!!
Oh, and btw... This also included some changes in my new Chapter, one of which is spending less time behind a computer, and more time capturing stunning imagery, and the first thing I did was to DELETE all my facebook accounts... We'll get a new PhotoSharing site to upload all my Still imagery, and share Motion imagery via my YouTubeChannel and Vimeo, while I'll continue to use Twitter and Instagram.
***Now of course I do fill the obligation to at list show you guys a Frame Grab form"The RED dress" short film, Shot at "6K 6144x3160 23.976fps ISO 800 REDCODE 5:1" while this does not showcase the DRAGON as I wanted to, it at list allows me not to do an other TEXT ONLY THREAD about Dragon...
