Sorry that im double posting this (already posted this in "dji Ronin (XL) Multi Test-Shoot/Review!") but I guess in this thread maby even Dji will answer.
So I have not used my ronin since christmas when I quickly balanced a canon still camera on it just to see how it worked. The balance was pretty easy and today when I had time to balance the epic on it I run in to a little problem with the roll axis. I don't know if you all have redvolts to throw in the sidehandle since for me its leaning towards right even when I have the sidehandle alll the way against the left side.
By looking at this video it seam like he must have a redvolt in the side handle.

Joel, your RED should balance on the Ronin with the REDVOLT in the SIDE HANDLE without any problems. But if you really are having issues even after getting too close to the side - you have two options. One is to reconfigure your RED so you offset the weight balance to the other side. The other is to shift the entire horizontal tilt arms (the U-shaped arms going around your camera) at the back position where they are attached to the roll axis. The procedure is outlined in the manual and also in some of the videos online. You will need to loosen bolts on both the top and bottom of the grip in addition to the ones affixed to the roll. This shifts the whole horizontal assembly to the side to offset the balance as necessary. You may want to first move the RED to a more comfortable position away from the side arms so that you have plenty of space for later adjustments...
