The downward spiral. Usually U.S. price cheaper than England or Europe. When are we going to see price drop?

Also it seems like the above price includes a 19% VAT tax built into that price. Strange what is going on here...
Take away the VAT 19% tax and you get retail price of $2,800

Is this the strangest group buy in history? I hope that Aerial Media Pros updates the price includes the 10% discount and extra battery and ships the damn thing. They have had our money for 6 weeks now, but hey I'm not complaining if the deal comes through.

I have no idea about the situation in the US, and have my fingers crossed Willis will give an official
update for everybody soon, but this is the info I got about Germany:

Not sure which dealer in Germany confirmed EUR 3050 net today (which is EUR 3630 incl. VAT), but
Thundertiger just confirmed the new price of EUR 2599 incl. VAT, which means a EUR 1965 net price.

Group buy customers will still get 10% off of that. Wow.

Also, apparently a shipment has left the factory in China and is on the way since a few days,
should arrive in Germany this week, and clear customs and thus be available sometime next week.

Also, I'd like to mention thundertiger was easily reachable this time, and at least they are very friendly.

Currently no complaints here =)

Globe Flight just confirmed the new price - but is still waiting for the Ronins to clear customs.
Then the new price will be updated...and people who paid the old price will get the difference back.

I still can't believe it.

Me too. Price drop notification in the UK. Amazing price now! Cheaper than a BeSteady One!!
The only thing that worries me, is the weight.

Yeah the weight worries me to, but at the new price what a way to get into the world of gimbals. I am currently working out toothing problems with the Helix ( which is a lovely piece of gear ) and suspect that we are only at the beginning of a long refinement process with these things, Look at the history of the Steadicam. When the really fit sports guys get their hands on these things we are going to see some amazing shots.

this group buy is all so vague and strange, but bottom line: WHAT A NICE PRICE! hats off to DJI! (if they deliver it in time ;)

Way past time haha, but I'm okay with that at the new price.

maybe this is a stupid question, but: doe the dji ronin work with the awesome hurricane wheels ???...

Don't worry if it doesn't now...it will in the future.
All those motors and sensors in the Ronin and looking like now it will retail for $1,000 cheaper than the wheels.

The default ronin controller doesn't have a trainer port - however it will bind with a futaba radio.
Matthias and co. Are working on futaba support now, and I believe it is possible to use a spektrum radio with a ronin via a PpM/SBUS port.

Just been on Production Gears U.K website and the price is now £2164 inc vat. The DJI guys are delivering a product at a decent price. Just putting my order in now.
