  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DJI RONIN Group Buy

Spoke with Pete at LCE too, apparently there's only 4 of us that they are responsible for so it amuses me that 3 of us are still regularly checking back.

It seems to me that many of the EU resellers know as much about the package details as we do at this point. I asked him to confirm if it will be shipping with a peli case w/ form cut outs and apparently it wasn't in any of DJI's communication with the resellers.

While I have faith that the product will be good, it's nice to know these sorts of things so I can plan and budget for needing to spend extra for a multirotor mount, hard case etc.

i'm in Germany too and haven't heard anything yet. I chosed other Dealer and checked contact via email, so maybe that's the reason...
So who's going to be the Dealer in Germany?

I also checked out with the option "other dealer" and "email contact" like David. I am located in Germany and also haven't heard anything yet. Will you get the extra battery, as you have ordered through amp?

Dominik, I believe Willis posted that all Group Buyers will also get a thumb control system for free.

Now to find someone CNCing a quick release for multis.

Willis, i'm #35 on the list but didn't hear anything yet, getting the feeling my registration didn't come through or something? Seeing that other in UK and germany are getting contacted already...how do i know if my registration has arrived?

ill come back and answer some questions in a bit, prepping to go to New Jersey's Unique Photo Trade Show departing tonight. If anybody wants to see the Ronin there, don't hesitate to reach out. My dragon did fortunately get rented out, so I'll be bringing a Gh4 with yagh base to show.

as for the inquiring from everybody that did not get contacted by a dealer in Europe, please email me willis.chung (at) dji (dot) com

all European customer names were hand selected by our sales team to dedicate to the nearest dealer on the map, they might not be right next to you, but we try to lock in the dealers in every region.

also, as mentioned before, because Aerial Media Pros started this Group Buy with Zeb, Aerial Media Pros will in fact be the sole dealer that has the "extra" bonus on top of the bonus Group Buy pricing discount of $449.90, the additional dealers on the list and all European dealers are expected to give the pricing discount only.

Does anybody know if Ronin has the ability to record the exact camera position, height, pan, tilt and roll angle to assist the VFX team in post-production like Movi M10? If not, will it be possible with a later firmware update?

Good advise, just wait, the fog will clear and the units will only improve, I'll take that. I think the weight has to improve as well, Alexia range sounds great. Probably also getting cheaper. Thanks for your work on this ZEB.
 
I didn't hear anything after the registration on the DJI site... I also choose "other" as a dealer?
I send them an email to ask why I didn't go any confirmation.
