...that must be good karma, I just got my confirmation mail from a Swiss dealer! I'm liking where this is going

thankfully your karma is good for the both of us ;-)

So there is definitvely something going on in the background..

I like to give any fellow Reduser that has purchased or wish to purchase the Ronin a last opportunity to participate by visiting my thread on the Test-SHoot of the Ronin (XL) were they can either contact me to participate and bring gear to test, and or suggest what Gear they would like to see the Ronin (XL) set up with, as to see what the XL Arms can handle as far as camera set ups and lenses.

The final test will most likely be done this weekend in LA area.

The tread is here: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?118216-dji-Ronin-(XL)-Multi-Test-Shoot-Review!

Hmmm i didn't get any confirmation from a european dealer yet :(

I have heard that DJI have allocated group buy registrants to various EU/UK dealers now, it's a bit of a lottery who you get (I assume stock is being allocated to cover the GB participants to each dealer) but apparently the ball is in the court of the dealers now for them to contact their customers.

I was contacted by a "local" dealer this morning. Unfortunately it was a Norwegian company - and Norway is not a member of the European Union, whereas Finland is.

In other words, me buying the Ronin from a Norwegian company is no different from me buying the Ronin from an American dealer. And to add insult to injury, Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world which I bet is going to be reflected in the shipping costs.

Pooch = screwed.

Hi Petri! As I mentioned a few posts up this thread, I was contacted by MK Sweden yesterday (www.mksweden.se). It seems to me that you should be able to talk to them to get your Ronin from these guys too. Surely having a Norwegian company contact you is a mistake.

Well, I got a very friendly and informative reply from the Norwegian dealer. I'd pay them a 0% VAT price, but since Norway is not in the EU, I'd have to declare the Ronin in Finnish Customs, and then pay VAT and import tax. Now, VAT I can deduct in accounting but import tax is a different matter - and it could run into hundreds of Euros.

If I bought Ronin from Sweden, I wouldn't have to pay import tax - as far as I know.

Correct - if you buy the Ronin from Sweden, you pay no import taxes since we're both in the EU. And if you let MK Sweden know your international VAT number, they should not charge you VAT on their end, and you won't pay it in Finland either, I'm pretty sure. In Sweden we apply for an international VAT number from the tax authorities I think.

I believe that's indeed the case. Thank you Olle. I should probably try to get in touch with MK Sweden.

That's good news!

+1
For the Netherlands, maybe Vocas (hilversum, close to Amsterdam)
could be a good dealer

Just got a phonecall, that mine will arrive in 4-5 days here in Germany :)
I think Frank Glencairn is the guy who ordered the other 2 over here.

AMP and got a phonecall from a comp that was called from a another comp to contact me.
Very strange.

I chose contact via phonecall.

Received an email from LCE (London Camera Exchange) with regards to the Ronin GB in the UK. Price is yet to be confirmed according to the email. Also there was no mention of the bonus items, but the 10% discount was. I'll update as I hear.

I also received an email from LCE, and similarly 10 percent discount, no bonus items mentioned.
