Just got word from Patrick (AMP) that they can not deliver out of the US..

So the rest of the world is cut off of now, i didn't see any development with representation of DJI outside the US.. why is this no priority??

I was ready to pull the trigger, but this now really pisses me off..

Oh thanks Daniel, I just wrote Patrick from AMP this morning and asked the same question about shipping to Switzerland. Too bad they don't do this.

@DJI / Willis: Any word if there will be a Swiss dealer? For me it's usually cheaper to buy + ship from the U.S. than from a EU country like Germany (tax and currency exchange wise). Having a Swiss reseller would be fantastic!

When can those of us in Europe expect our unit? I will not accept having to wait 2 months after US customers to get mine. Just be up-front with us so we can make informed decisions, please. Thanks.

Set up an account with mail forwarder myus.com. If you have an American Express Gold card or above I think it is free. Get the Ronin sent to their base in Florida then onto you. That's what I'm doing with my Letus Helix.

Hey guys,
in Alaska paying out of my ass for wifi. I understand the frustration from the European users. I'll get an update on when our European dealer(s) are signing and will post it here asap. Last I heard, the first dealer catering the reduser group buy deal will be in Germany. Thanks for all your patience.

Thanks Willis - Pls keep us up to date about European dealers. Hope we can have our unit in a couple of months at least.

I know that there is a free battery included in the GB deal, but how much are additional batteries?

@PaulKalbach,
Our sales department haven't set the price for the intelligent batteries yet, but the estimate is anywhere between $150-$199.

Really want to know the european dealer asap. I really want a ronin begin august, and feeling the heat of not making that... Hope we europeans are not being pushed back far in line due to a lack of a dealer...

I never received any email from the dealer I selected. I can't remember the name of the dealer, but it was the NYC dealer.

I'm pulling out of this Group Buy if the Ronin isn't in my hands mid July. Just sayin'

Hey guys. Really excited about the Ronin and grateful for all the efford that Willis, Zeb, and Patrick have been putting into this.
I also haven't received any email and joined the GB right when it opened up, so Patrick I'll send you an email now.

The main thing I want to ask is do we have an update with specs on the unit, particularly its weight? We are planning to fly the Ronin and want to make sure we are covered with our heavy-lift aerial rigs to handle it.

Also, I know there is a quick-release to from handheld onto a multi-rotor rig, will we have to custom make that multi-rotor attachment?

Thanks!

Does anyone think that the ronin can handle a small v mount bettery instead of a redvolt inside the side handle? That means no side handle. Just the brain, lens, and the lightest v mount battery? I think it shouldnt be much heavier than the sidehandle no?

Wait till you see what I am making for mine. I will make it available to others as well - prototyping with a 3D printer as we speak... ;o)
