Question 1) Has there been consideration to using a 'Switchblade-X + XL rear battery' rather than 'Epic Sidehandle + Red Volt'? Catering to those who don't Red Volt batteries (or want decent Camera battery up time) would increase GB interest.

Thanks Zeb for the intro. I'll do my best to give any and all information I'm capable of. For starters, Happy Memorial Day. The sales department promised to give me a better idea of how the logistics will work in terms of the Group Buy this week.

I have asked this before to Zeb, but wanted to save you the time to browse this whole thread...:

There are few of us in this GB that are not based in the USA - for example I am based in Tokyo, Japan.
In order to avoid complicated shipping and customs procedures and costs - would DJI's HQ / factory in China be able to ship directly to those not in the USA?

Thanks! I'm a big fan of WirelessHD and how much it's evolved. We've been using Paralinx's Tomahawk on various applications with the Ronin, works very well. Due to the high demand of the Bolt2k, and the already industry standard BoltPro, I'm trying to get the Ronin's workflow working seamlessly w/ 3rd party industry products.

Fantastic question. As of right now, I still don't have an answer for what the special perk included with the Group Buy is, I should know this week though. We'll do whatever we can to get the Redusers taken care of one way or another though. Standby for an official answer. Thanks.
 
@Peter.G, an amazing product is nothing without product support. I'll do my best to keep you informed.

As for functionality, in addition to the 2x 12v regulated Ptaps powered through the Ronin Battery, our R&D team decided to add a 5v USB for the Paralinx Arrow owners out there.

Best part, you can also charge your smartphone w/ it.
 
@FrankGlencairn, We have a DJI branch in Germany & Japan, with dealers worldwide. I'll definitely bring this concern up to them and find a GB solution for the international users ASAP.

But one thing I don't see are any cases on DJI marketplace.

No cases for S1000..no cases for LightBridge..and no cases for Ronin.
This stuff is all so fragile....how are these things shipped without cases...?

Also how is the one-button Auto-Tune coming along..does it work sufficiently well..?

DJI doesn't own dji-market.com, our HQ team is looking at who owns the site, chances are they are a 2nd tier dealer that purchases from one of our distributor.

Ahh, the case, you're going to LOVE the case, a LOT of energy & passion has been put into this design. More on this later =)

As for the S1000, Lightbridge cases, we didn't want to hinder the workflow of our supporter companies that make cases for our multi-rotor line, such as GoProfessional, HPRC, Thinktank, etc.
