DJI RONIN Group Buy

[Paul Kalbach]

I tested every gimbal I ran across at NAB and felt Ronin was the best. Count me in!

[Note Suwanchote]

im definitely interested, depending on when they are expected to ship

[Paul Kalbach]

I'm really surprised to hear you say that Mark… of all the gimbals I tried on the NAB floor, the one I was LEAST impressed with was the G-Rig. And the high price point didn't influence my decision because I never knew it before.

+1. Too heavy. Ready to shoot rig without camera mounted is 9.26 pounds...

FCPX 10.1.1 being a little bitch today so the World Premier of the Ronin vid might be a bit delayed. Anyone know what's up with Neat Video and 10.1.1? Seems to crash regularly. Any other noise reduction options for FCPX?

I didn't run across the Letus booth.

Paul, you missed a gem. Since we did the gimbal meetup together last Sunday, I feel a responsibility to urge you to take a look at the Letus. I know it's too late for you to see it at the show, but there are some articles, videos, and impressions posted in the Letus thread. It's very different in design, setup, feel, and even function (in some important ways) than anything else I've seen. Worth considering.

Group Buy details coming soon . . . stay tuned

Pretty persuasive! (It's the "ladies" that seal the deal). ;-)

I nabbed them to bookend Patrick to heat up the frame (wink). They were from the fun & loud fashion show RED did in their booth. Bikinis and beachwear . . . you know . . . to demonstrate the improved Dragon skin tones 'n stuff. RED always brings it on at NAB
