  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DJI RONIN Group Buy

Will the order line be in accordance of the "interested reserve list" or is it simply a free for all? I personally think sticking to the ordered list of interested members is the most fair.

I suggested on the panel webcast and in posts and PM, that we do what has been done, AFAIK, on all GB's in recent memory, where a list was created. That is allow those , who send deposit/funds, to get the preference established, by the interested list. This allows an orderly and usual and customary, best practices procedure. What do you think Willis?

Not that a list won't be helpful but I think DJI's official list would be based on those that actually commit funds within the 5day window, I think thats when priority of place on the list takes effect. We might as well consider the current list as FYI /interest list. I will also want to assume that DJI first production run should be in thousands especially if you consider they are distributing through multiple vendors simultaneously. Its on b&h. At best our GB represents a special one-time vendor. Perhaps they've capped us under a thousand and I'm sure we yet to get close to that. Who knows, well...till 6/6

Guys...chill out...relax remember you are no longer on the B.Steady GB page..hehe..
Adam surprised to see you over here..before you posted you had no work lined up
and hence needed to get rid of the B.Steady...:)..well glad to see you got some jobs lined up.

People have shot movies for over 100 years without any gimbal so think we can all wait for Ronin
with patience..no need to jostle positions and push people to the back of the line. Not necessary.
DJI not a new startup..Just hope DJI pulls this off with bulletprooof quality manufacturing...
quantity will be there for Ronins for all worldwide and Willis has posted as such a couple

I just posted the names in order of when the users put in their interest. We agree this is more fair for the users. When the time comes, the Ronin kits will be distributed in the order of the list from the people that's paid.

Where did you post it?

I don't have the time to hang around here every day so I would appreciate a time frame on 1) when we'll know the GB package deal 2) see some actual videos 3) information on discount and when/how payments shall be handled.

Keep up the good work Willis!
