  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dear Red team,

I believe the last posted schedule looked like this:

Serial numbers 1-50 Delivered
Serial numbers 51-100 Begins October 15th (50 units)
Serial numbers 101-200 Begins October 30th (100 units)
Serial numbers 201- 600 Begins November 30th (400 units)
Serial numbers 601- 1100 Begins December 30th (500 units)
Serial numbers 1101- 1600 Begins January 30th (500 units)
Serial numbers 1601- 2200 Begins February 30th (500 units)
Serial numbers 2201- 2700 Begins March 30th (500 units)
Serial numbers 2701- 3400 Begins April 30th (700 units)
Serial numbers 3401- 4100 Begins May 30th (700 units)

Obviously a lot has changed since this was posted, and we know you guys are busting your butts to get cameras out the door, but could we please see an updated schedule along these lines, factoring in all current production realities?

I don't think anyone will hold your collective feet to the fire if it varies a bit, we'd just like to get a current snapshot for those with camera orders beyond the first 300. It would help those of us running businesses.

We expect to get production up to 400 cameras for January and 500-600 February on. 700 units by May.

That is a rough schedule. We have been late in the past so we are hesitant to post a firm schedule and be late again. But this is what we are thinking- today.

Thanks, and I understand the hesitation to commit. But just to clarify, do you mean 400 additional cameras out the door in January, and 500-600 cameras per month starting in February? (not up to camera number 400 in January...)

O.K., but I sure hate to advertise that it took so long to "get it"... about the camera, I mean.

Hmm... time to start transferring money around and refining our accessory selections, it looks like. Hope #404 doesn't show up too far ahead of our Birger mount. Though we can always rent PL lenses in the interim, I guess.

Jim, any hint on what the timing is going to be like on those 400 January cameras? Is it going to be 100 a week, or one big shipment toward the end of the month, or what?
