DAVINCI RESOLVE and ***HACKINTOSH***

Hi,

I wanted to update finally my hackintosh to Lion. I followed Luigi's guide but couldn't boot from the hdd.
I tried booting it via USB, but that should be the problem, since I have a backup copy of osx 10.6.8 on an other hdd which I'm able to boot from.

So maybe I did something wrong...

Download Lion via App store
Use the downloaded image
Prepare an hdd in an usb adapter
Follow the vid tutorial
Install Machete Chameleon + 3 GPU
restart

Any mistakes there?

slot 1: empty
slot 2: empty
slot 3: GTX480
slot 4: Blackmagic 3D+
slot 5: GTX480
slot 6: Areca
slot 7: GTX480

ciao David;

......only connect a hard drive on SATA 1, all others should not have hard drives or DVD Allach.
the system must operate.

i use Wave panel why i use for Davinci and for Redcine-x pro.
For Avid Mc color.. HACK as little problem whit driver and protocol...

Varius colorists suggests Wave.
The build quality is better in the Avid, but it's less productive and a said by Luigi, Ethernet surfaces aren't good with hackintosh

I miss an LCD or Plasma ask advice from colorists, as recommended? Panasonic SAMSUMG, Sony, etc. etc..
The measurement should be between 46 "and 58" inches.
I await your advice.

Just finished fixing the Resolve 8.01 system. A ton of thanks to Luigi and Rohit Gupta for the fixes and the tricks. 2xGTX570 on a sandybridge system and lion. :w00t: Will post pics later if Luigi doesn't mind.

Yes is correct if You have 3 gtx put in slot 3/5/7, Yes is possible card is issue, Check alimentation !!

You mean to tell me we can run 570 GTXs in a hackintosh now with Luigi's setup? That would be great since it's hard to find the 400 series anymore.

I did the hack on a different board. An asrock p67 Fatal1ty which has limited full pcie slots. only 2x8 lanes and one 4 lane. I'm sure it should work with 3xgtx570 with Luigi's setup.

I need help with making a Hackintosh. Last one I attempted to make had no sound and most applications did not work because I did not have quartz graphics compatible video card... Any ideas? Any good guides for a computer that can just run things like FCP, Resolve, etc decently?
