Cuda generation new era and post here if you have problem.
I remeber you ---> backup your system first.

Don't install 10.6.8 yet.

With or without new Nvidia drivers CUDA gets broken.

Wait until updated CUDA released

EDIT: reports are that older CUDA can work. (3.x)

I have installed GPU driver version: 1.6.34.13(256.02) with my 10.6.7, is it working with 10.6.8? or I need to go back to 256.01?

rollback driver Nvidia to 256.01 with this cuda work perfect...
The last Driver Nvidia have a bug.

Here as promised guide + driver for your P6T7 supercomputers for 10.6.8.
This work with Cuda driver 4.0.17
Important is from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 not 10.6.3 to 10.6.8
Simple procedure:

- Download 10.6.8 combo update from Apple, the file size is about 1 GB.

- Download the video tutorials, + driver P6t7 supercomputers.
https://rapidshare.com/files/485069404/TUTO_DRIVER.zip

I would recommend not to proceed with this update, for me is superb, I would expect Lion. But your choice.
Make a backup anyway for security of the entire system before trying.

DSDT and Chameleon have been modified for this motherboard .
this solution allows for greater speed and stability to the system.
Although it is very important the choice of components always very close to the original apple.

Well guys as promised I have tested for you DaVinci Resolve 8 on 10.6.8 without problems cuda work very well, how beautiful this Davinci eheheh
With R3D 4.5k and REDROCKET is a REAL TIME FULL DEbayer with more more more node.....
tonight will look at the manual for all the news.
As for Lion 11A494 DP4 does not work there are still problems with the database, we await the Golden Master and perhaps an update for Davinci.

source。maybe it was only my problem。

Maybe the programmers changed something about GUI vs. CUDA card. Do you have a chance to add another simple card for GUI and have both GTX285 cards work for Resolve only (no monitors attached) ?
