  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

DAVINCI RESOLVE and ***HACKINTOSH***

Added video Tutorial for chameleon (this is new chameleon 752 only for Asus x58 thanks Ireset)

- cooming soon new installer cuda generation 3 , improve speed and stability.

i like much this hack but have 2 redrocket with last driver 1.4.7 and Redcine-x 452 for encode and FX 4800 nivida GPU ...... ready for EPIC
Have Davinci Resolve for GRading.

Davinci work with 2 gtx470 gpus and ati for gui. Both monitor connected to ati. My ati card is a original mac pro 5770. Cinebench gpu results 41fps.

just a fyi. this motherboard doesn't like SSD. i tried with ocz 120,160gb vertex ii and corsair 120gb.

luigi walked me through installing on a velociraptor 300gb and then i tried to clone it on the ssd. no bueno.

has anyone gotten it to work on a ssd?

I use Kingstom v100 128 gb SSD ;) and corsair Force series .
Use my videotutorial in first page .... use chameleon 752 x58 .

and it only reads 1 gpu. would i have defective gtx 470s?

I wanted to thank Luigi for his amazing help on putting together a dual rocket P6T7 hackintosh beast with for our Epic-M R3D conversions. This guys is a genius and there is no challenge that he can't take on, really. But to do so he has spent days and nights helping us out so I really have to acknowledge all the efforts and resources he has put into this adventure.

try in preferences/debug this:
LsManager.3.NumGPUs = 3
LsManager.3.GPUMapping = 0 1 2
LsManager.3.GPUMappingEnable = 1

0 1 2 = Cards that you want to use.

Hey guys, just a quick, FYI.

There are newer Nvidia drivers in iMac update for 10.6.7

NVDAGF100Hal 1.6.34.13 (256.02.05f01)

After installing, you need to run a script to re-enable CUDA

Details at Netkas.org.

Don't know if they are faster/better but I do know they work.

Nice thing is that they finally enable OpenCl in Snow Leopard on Fermi. This includes Quadro 4000.

Sorry but this is incorrect, I use a multitude of SSD's with the two p6T7's I have. From Kingston, OCZ, Corsair, Patriot, etc... There is in fact a problem with the sata IRQ being used so drives other than 0 & 1 have exceptionally slow speeds. Whether they are SSD or not. 2-5 channels suffer major speeds drops, under the ICH10R.

Greetings Luigi,

Quick question:

When i have two displays connected to my gui GTX, on boot, the custom splash graphic (the image with resolve, and red, that takes the place of the apple on the gray startup screen) no longer displays. It is just black screen until the user login pops up.

Is this normal? Its not a big deal, I was just curious if there was an easy fix or reason this is happening.
