Corrupt Dragon Clips - Not Happy

So I just shot a bunch of clips and 2 of them are corrupted - coming up as one frame clips.

Here is the R3D.

This was a very hard to get moment so am VERY unhappy about this.

Any clues as to why this happened ?

We've seen it pop up time to time.

It's very likely something is up with the Side SSD Module.

Specifically if something "gets in there" and isn't blown out or cleaned, something like this can happen. It can also be the connection behind the module, the cables nearby, or even the connectors on the REDMAG/MINI-MAG itself getting dirty.

Send RED a log file. I would grab a flashlight and inspect everything closely in the mean time.

Try RED UNDEAD to recover them.


Beware that the instructions are flawed. They state that you need to have space, the size of the mag on your computer for the recovered files , when in fact it only worked for me to recover on an external HD.

Had this issue with a few of my clips. Turned out that after downloading on a different computer I got them all. May not work, but I'd give it a go just incase it's the computer. Have you tried playing them back on the RED?

REDundead is the 1st place you should go if you have an issue.

yes test to play on camera first if you still have the mag not formated. then red undead.
