If you are ever looking for the actual Cooke Look, the S4/i series really and truly are that. Fantastic lenses. I hope whatever happens down the line this is something they build on.

Phil Hopefully they will just improve on all of the aspects that made these lenses as desired as they were,

One of my favorite sets of glass. Still kind of regret selling the Cooke Technovision 18-90 I had back in the day. That was an interesting zoom. Hope Cooke stays around for a long time. I'm sure it's not easy in the current landscape

That was an adaptation of the 20-100? Love the look of that lens on digital. (And I sometimes still rent the 20-60, which is sharper and a bit more modern looking, would probably intercut a bit better with the s4s, I suppose…)

Okay, Full Frame, S7i or S8i for the best Cooke look?

As for being around a while, they have their new 65mm Medium Format lenses coming so they have a plan for the future! (y)
I don’t know about superiority in look, but the S8s are certainly more compact and nicer to use.
