Controlling a new camera with an EVF

Hello everyone,

I just received my Weapon camera, I don't have the new LCD 7" yet but I will have a LCOS EVF. Do you think it's possible to control the camera and shoot tests with the EVF and the sidekick. For example, doing the autoblackshade with the EVF, etc. I just need to know if the EVF shows the image or the image + menus.
I will also buy Fool Control, could be useful but can I install it on my Weapon without screen?

You can put the menu on the EVF and on th sdi/hdmi out. you could use the side kick to navigate.

Yes you should be able to display menu overlay and set monitor priority to evf (and control it from sidekick).

Can also use sidekick menu to enable wifi without touch screen to use foolcontrol

Yes, you can do that through the menu on the sidekick. When the sidekick is in "local" mode press the Menu button to bring up the menu tree. Once you have setup the monitor settings as you like switch the sidekick to "remote" mode (using the mode button) to drive the menus on your EVF.
