Interesting, thank you. So best to contact one of the Chinese brick and mortar stores directly. What is the Chinese equivalent of B&H and Adorama?
I think I already answered this when I said they don't have websites and some sell through taobao. You will have very little chance contacting anyone directly unless you find contact information on manufacturer website. Taobao stores don't generally list phone numbers (some do) but the communication happens through the app. If you don't speak Chinese you are also going to have hard time talking with any of the shops. There is no equivalent to my knowledge in this field. That's almost like asking who makes the chopsticks in US. There are random independent dealers but I don't think any of them is specialized so widely on everything. Lots of more expensive film stuff is imported and by Jebsen (not sure if they sale directly). But generally speaking, everything film related that is imported can be like 30% more expensive (like RED cameras). Cameras like Sony and Panasonic are manufactured for this market especially so the products are available usually bit cheaper and much faster as in I had FS7 bought directly from the store shelf half a year before (october 2014) most of the people in the world start receiving their pre-orders.
