  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red Epic Demo Reel # 1

Thanks Bob! I'm getting the hang of premiere finally... after getting certified in final cut years ago I never thought I'd fall in love with premiere like I have recently.

I'll see if I can find it... I know I used Magic Bullet Looks (Very Subtle) to get the blue halogen flare you see on each clip.

I love the 18 to 85... I recently canceled my gym membership because using the clutch with the 18-85 is just as good a workout!

Have you ever compared the 18-85 against canon l primes?

bought the 14mm canon L-series prime yesterday, but haven't tested it out yet. We have a shoot this weekend, so I'll let ya know! Maybe do an A and B test. I know it's a different focal length but we needed that one for the arsenal.

Loved the reel and the edit, great stuff. Especially liked the shots of the orchestra, keep up the good work!

Thanks Carlos, yes I loved the lighting at that event for sure!

i keep trying different looks, I like your look, would like to try it. sharpness contrast shadows etc,

How do you like 18-85?

Ok, I checked and I actually colored that piece with the bmx kid in Premiere, not RedCine-X...

thanks, but did you export the footage using redcine?

I did not export using red cine x, I was trying techniques inside of premiere like those shown in this video. Coloring RAW 5k footage without redcine-x, but still saving the changes to the RMD. Which can be opened back up into redcine-x reflecting your changes.

So I guess I could send you the look after all! I didn't think about that.
