Hey!

Shoot me an email if you want to talk about adding remote start/stop. I'm sure we can have something done in no time!

Sure a beautiful design the Hrvoje! It looks like it will fit my hands very nicely indeed ;) I love the curves and the structure.

Thank you all... :)

Hehe...thank you Constantine...

Rosette mount is practically the same as the one shown on page 3, just few subtle corrections.
Didn't feel like it fitted on these types of pics...

I've seen wooden handgrips before. This one takes the cake. Any word on shipping, availability, price? I want a couple!

Also, does one handle fit both left and right hands, or will there be a left hand model and right hand model?

Thank you for all the kind words.

There will be a left hand version. The whole point is maximum ergonomics and hands are mirrored. :)
I should have more info soon.

Whoever did the product shots...really knows their stuff. How's it done..?

1zedv8m.jpg

I did those shots, so thanks...learning daily...

No enhancements in post, wanted the look as natural and realistic as possible. I did just a few small corrections and I removed dust and few spots from the surfaces. Part of the credit goes also to my friend and colleague. He helped a lot with the setup and lights and I learned a few things from him. Shots of the previous handle on page 3 were done by another colleague based on my requests and corrections.

It's a combo of black plexy, backdrop and play with lights and reflections...

Thanks, Jay. I appreciate it.

The info.

Wood:

African Sapelli Mahogany
Very good toughness and resistance to weather conditions. Has alive looking texture whose apperance changes based on the angle one looks at it.

Surface protection:

Although this type of wood is very resistant and used in yachts and musical instruments, wood will be additionally protected with special varnish for even higher surface resistance to weather conditions and body chemistry.

Finish:

Finish will be matte/satin, as on these pictures. Glossy finish was tested and visually it has more wow effect to it, but wow effect was not the priority, safer grip and avoiding reflections were. Glossy finish may be considered later on special requests.

Rosette mount:

Rosette mount is made of anodized aluminum and allows replacing rosettes.
Handle comes with Arri style rosette included.

Fit:

Handle is designed to fit most common hand sizes, allowing evenly distributed pressure and natural feeling.
Fit with extremes may vary.

Uniqueness:

This handle will not be shaped by an algorithm and will not have exact clones.
Uniqueness is also due to wood grain randomness.

Production:

Apollo will be built to order.
One can expect roughly 2-3 weeks for production. Just the varnish takes about a week to fully dry before shipping is advised.

Size:

134x84x60 mm / 5.2x3.3x2.3 inches

Weight:

Handle: 172 g / 6.97 oz
Rosette mount: 78 g / 2.75 oz

Price:

Introductory price includes a special discount.
$400 for the early adopters.

Shipping & tax excluded.

Ordering:

Orders are being accepted.
At this point, contact and ordering details over PM.

As things are subject to change, so are the elements of this info.
Spirit behind the creation of Apollo will remain.
