  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Casey Green - Los Angeles

Nice Casey, miss ya man!!

Thanks, Ketch! Appreciate the kind words!

Been a while! You've been rockin it. Hope to work together sometime soon!!!

Good stuff, shame for the SD, Casey, but that's what happens to most TV Commercials deliveries...

Thanks Serg... Funny to post low-res from 4K... working on an updated version.

Also, soon that will change with REDRay!!! (I've put in my order.) :)

Congratulations to Peter Holland (Best Cinematography) and CB Harding (Best Screenplay) for their wins at the Boston International Film Festival for work on the feature film "Complicity"! (Shot on RED EPIC cameras provided by RedCam Central)

Great catch Casey.
I have not even seen this till you posted it.

One of the funnest commercials I've gotten to DIT and Color grade.
Aside from below freezing temperatures out on the Air plane runway strip it was all just a cool breeze of a shoot.
I think it was 3 days of shooting and a 4th day spent 1light grading.

Antony Hoffman
The Director is also the DP he's wickedly good, hands on the camera all over the place, in tune with all of his visual surroundings.
So looking forward to seeing him direct action packed feature length movies.
He moves very fast if your not on your toes your left behind. He's got a complete vision on what he is looking for and he is clear in his guiding that vision to the crew to ensure they capture that shot.
Hes also a true fan of Epic cameras, size form factor, power and capabilities.

It is rare to see a Director whom can DP and roll on all cylinders as efficient and creative as he does.
Brandon Savory His operator and AC is a upcoming Hand Held star in his own right.

Here are some of the BTS photos.

Thank you Casey for that and your camera package to help us pull it off.

It got so wild we had multiple units in DIT world.
Dustin McKim
& George Ortega handled that so well I want to do it again.

I failed to take pictures of the MLink we used
But I cant tell you guys enough how impressive that box is with a REDrocket in it and on a MBP via Thunderbolt.

This was the shoot that made me a total believer that you can really DIT out on the field with a Laptop and an expansion chassis and deliver high end quality footage to editorial same day.
We were actually color grading during lunch on the camera truck and I was delivering dailies that evening.

Thanks again for that post Casey.

Looks incredible! Keep it up Casey!

...Thanks again for that post Casey.

Thanks, Lu. I forgot you worked on this as well as it was spread out over many days. Great shots and congrats on your excellent work! This project is much bigger than I first imagined, as we get a bunch of car commercial camera rentals (especially a lot of Toyota). I'm sure many more people / companies were involved than I initially thought before seeing the finished product!

Great work everyone. It was a fun to play a part in it.

LOL
Your paying too much attention to Doc Rivers
You can relax now.
Hes on his way to LA to make the Clippers better than the Lakers.

Heres a refresher.
Twas the night before new years and I was in a frenzy.

Me in Dubai shooting the Burj Khalifa and George had to come see you for the package because I was not sure if I was gonna make it back into the States from Dubai on New years day.
I lost my passport which SUCKED but found it only moments before going to the airport.
You saved me while i was on a very long flight out of contact, got here just in time for the shoot.

Thanks for all your help on that shoot.
