  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Brent and I handed our internal Bombsquad and Propaganda team a couple Ravens to go shoot some "test" footage....

Very very impressive for an entry level camera, well done Jarred.
 
Credit team Propaganda (Collectives and BTS team) and some of our BOMB SQUAD folks who shot/directed/edited/sewed curtains/lit it/painted walls. They do such an amazing job on such tight budgets, that Jarred and I usually just need to sit back and enjoy seeing their creativity and vision come to life in RSH's 4K theater...

Pretty amazing that five of the six people on Propaganda video division all started in the BOMB SQUAD. Many of you had either Clyde, Andrea, Jason M, Jay T, or Dan D either take your order, issue you an RMA, or answer a support ticket.

Samir, name Propaganda is a tongue in cheek reference to when Jim first announced RED in 2006, people called it "snake oil", "scam", "vapoerware"... And, as you say, a few years later, "and this is how it is!"
 
Propaganda was also the production company that Mr Fincher directed for back in the day.

i was ready for a video to be like on the street doc stuff or around the office…
very very impressive!
now id love to see behind the scenes!
and i wish there was a pop up video where we can see what all the setting were for each setup…probably pushing my luck, but did they have any specs they had to follow? like compression? or iso or anything?

Only real guidance was different FPS and different lighting conditions... Basically, just show off the camera.

So glad I preordered. Honestly, you guys have really outdone yourselves here.
