  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Carrion - Shot on Red Raven 4.5k

Very. very nice. Love the shot with shards of mirrors! Overall lovely. Any chance for a breakdown of other support gear used?

Great "proof-of-concept" video. I've wondered how the RAVEN's footage would cut with other RED footage. Get it as good as the Propaganda Team did and NO WORRIES!
 
so it just dawned on me 4.5k and 4.5kws wil be obviously the same mode, right, and that ratio would be 2:40?

and then will there be 4kws, maybe for higher frame rates?
 
pretty sure 4.5k will shoot 120 fps. In widescreen, as it doesn't shoot 4.5 16:9

Yes I know that, but I guess there can be a 4kws setting?
then I was just saying if 4.5k and 4.5kws are the exact same ratio or setting. 2:40?

Just watched this on my new Samsung 4k Curved TV and it looks absolutely AMAZING! Great work Red Team!!!
 
That was sick man! Love that the bomb squad are filmmakers too, and externally talented ones at that!
 
Glad I pulled the trigger on my pre-order...a little beast of a camera!
 
One thing I don't get is the title? I suppose ravens do sometimes compete with buzzards for carrion, but this is not roadkill... this is Chateaubriand on fine china.
 
Wow, that's a kick-a$$ way to show off a new camera! Sure we have to wait 'till March?
