Canon 300c Specs as they come

"Oooh, it's plastic! Oooh it's noisy!" You guys are pretty quick to blast a camera you've only seen 320x240 via cellphone.

That said, this camera exists, it has a release date, it has a price and it's sold as a package rather than a explosion of pieces I have to assemble. I'm not trying to blast Red here, I love the idea of Red and I want Red to win - but from the looks of it Canon is going to AGAIN be getting my RED money. This makes me sad.

Somebody said this was aimed at the Epic buyer - you'd better hope not because it looks like this thing is 1/4 of the price.

Well, perhaps this camera from Canon, although it looks like plastic, CAN handle MOVEMENT nicely.. Because RED cameras all look awkward when something is moving moderately fast in front of them.
I'd purchase any RED immediately if those weird artifacts werent so devastating. When you go to the cinema... You can always see which ones were shot on a red. Jerky Movement !

It's a 4K size sensor, but it only records 1080. That is not 4K.

I hardly see how its a copy of RED. Similar shape as an epic but so is the fs100 and af100... DSLR's are almost identical across brands.... shrug
