All I can say is after this much hype....I can't possibly imagine what is going on. Everything I can think of is pretty cool, but Jim seems super pumped. Expectations are higher than for FCPX! I hope there isn't a let down. It seems like there is something more than just the shipping announcement for scarlet.

My expectation:

-Scarlet ships Nov 3 at a really competitive price point.

My guess of what other crazy thing could be going on:
-Laser proj/red ray shipping
-Dragon chip in scarlet

Is it not possible to over-hype this announcement at all? I mean, we're all expecting something pretty revolutionary, but within reasonable levels of that context...

From the tone of Jannard post, the excitement suggest that the Scarlet project is going to be something we have never heard about not just some improved specifications over the original concept.
