  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Build 17...

i just love the whole process:
-checking on red site.
-finding that there is an upgrade waiting ( i love when i find it before the email from red team gets me..)
- download it
-upgrade it
- i have even come to love the black shading part. it's a sort of foreplay...
- spend all my spare time playing around to see what has changed and doing tests back and forth from the re one and the mac...

the bad part is that all this makes me a red website addicted. i Must check what's up many, many times a day.;-)

but this has also thrown away all my knowledge about the earth being round. i keep seeing posts coming from california at very strange hours.
like now.
of course, i'm checking at red website for my 3rd time today.
but here it's late morning, so up there is supposed to be very very late at night.
well, i guess it's all right. i often check the website late at night, too.

so, thank you very much indeed for the hard work.

Build 17 will likely be released before the board exchange.

Build 16 is sweet, indeed. The refinement of existing features, whilst not revolutionary, will be a big step again IMHO. As they say in software business, the last 10% takes 90% of time, and it is true. I look forward to yet another new camera in a few weeks time ...

Oh, any more hints, Jim, or are you going to build the drama gradually in this episode too? :tongue:

Can you correct the spelling mistakes in the dialog box of formatting the media?
It doesn't look good.
 
Like to see thumbnails for playback at the camera and not browsing through the entire magazine
 
Like to see an automatic enable sound check when you go from 2K to 4K and not to have to remember enable it. Sound should be enable at all times. When you go varispeed it is auto disable itself and when you don't want it at normal speed you manually disable it.
