  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

hello we noticed it is possible to open corrupted file from RED Raven(camera power loss during shot) in redcine and all take seems ok! but the file cannot be copied out of redmag... is there some trick to do so? we ended by connected card reader and transcoding to different format in REDCINE but we will lost possibility to work with R3D raw file later.
 
Yes.

You need to download REDUndead from Red.com. Follow the instructions carefully and the software is MAC only.

Can also r3d 'trim' it to a new file... This will keep it raw.

Look for it under export presets (create new preset with file format : r3d trim and set options as needed for audio etc)
