  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Birger Lens Mount Reservations

I'm beginning to suspect that today is not going to be the day... getting late on the East coast and still no email.

I got my e-mail!
I have noticed that e-mail doesn't contain order number or any other clue how to connect it to the order. All is in the PDF file that you are not sending back when you press replay button.

Just answering to Erik e-mail - Yes send me the mount- , may make him wonder who is confirming what.
He will have to search by e-mail or other clues.

Put the order number in the body of the e-mail when you are answering to Erik!!
 
I'm pretty happy about getting that email. Erik, I will come and help you assemble for free, right up until we get to my number. I'll run away with mine after that though thanks.
 
I must have checked for my Birger email twenty times a day all week. It was great to get it. Thanks Erik and I agree, please can we close this thread? That is if no one has any objections.

EXACTLY !

I had an e-mail pretty much the same as this way back in December and I well remember opting to delay the delivery of my mount until late January because I was away shooting in Austria.

We should close this thread when people - more than one or two - actually HAVE working mounts - not vague promises.
 
So now that we have confirmation emails, should we expect the mounts to ship this coming week?
 
Did a bit of a search, but didn't find this specific info.

Does anyone know when the Bluetooth remote will be shipping? Now, weeks, months? Want to decide whether to do partial ship when knobs are available or wait until knobs AND Bluetooth ready.

Eric, judging by Birger's track record with us, I think we can assume that it'll take long. In fact, I predict that Nikon mounts will start shipping, optimistically speaking, maybe by September.
 
Ive tried three email. 2 direct messages and emails to people close to Birger and NOT ONE response from anyone there re a possible interview for the next ep of RedCentre. Either they're too busy or they've skipped town to the bahamas :-)

If anyone actually receives a mount, works for Birger or knows someone who does and would like to PM me, I'd love to have a chat.
