  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BEWARE Some fraud trying to sell me the RED camera

"Rob Treasures" emailed me when I was looking to buy an Epic. He couldn't provide the serial number of the camera, he wanted immediate payment via Paypal Gift and his price was too low to be real.

When something appears too good to be true, it almost always is.

You will be pleased to know the guy has been arrested. If anyone has lost money to this guy and wants to be part of the investigation, please PM me and I will pass you the details of the detective in the US leading the enquiry.

If anyone has even been contacted by him in an attempt to be scammed, the detective would also like to hear about it. Please contact myself or Duane and we can give you the detectives info.

She still has a few months to add to her case before the investigation is complete... everything helps!

Can you smell that... It smells like justice!! Hopefully he pays with interest...

Seems like a somewhat disturbed individual..............

Either he was not held enough as a child, or he was held "too much" by his uncle Wally or something... :)

What really should have happend. Sting operation, and catch him in the act. Warrent to tap his phone, and log his Internet activity. Fraud needs a more severe punishment.

From reading another thread, it looks like the police had been watching this guy for a month or so. Sounds like the detective has several people who have been defrauded giving her information and evidence.

FYI…I just forwarded all of my PM and email correspondence to Detective Ovca. This individual contacted me as "Doug Lawson" (looking to sell me two lenses) and "Rob Treasures" (looking to sell me an Epic). I didn't fall for either of his scams, but I kept the emails just in case. I hope they do some good.

I would also seriously encourage anyone who's had dealings with either of the above individuals to get in touch with Detective Ovca.

His Twitter account says he’s been released. What’s up with that? I want this guy gone! I hate it for all of you that he took advantage of.

Utter Scumbag!

Guys like this get it eventually. If you read his little website, he tells all of his friends and family that it was all just a big mistake but what is he going to tell them when he is in prison!

Hey guys- Please contact Detective Ovca (listed above)... She has said that anyone that he has any contact with here regarding sales- regardless of whether or not there was money involved- will be treated as an attempt, and the more cases of attempted fraud the better.
Lets make sure to put this guy away for as long as we can.
I've no real hope of getting any money back anytime soon from this d-bag, but would love to see some real justice served.
