BeSteady FOUR Thread

Hey guys,
I'm trying to fine tune the beast (Epic Dragon, 50mm Zeiss SS, Paralinx, wireless focus, the battery and and monitor are on handlebars). I'm having trouble with the trial and error necessary to tweak the new settings (gain, response, power) for each axis. I'd be happy to not use the more intricate "manual tuning" if that's what's working for you. I'm hoping someone would be willing to share some workable longer lens settings. Also a setting which would enable a fast walk/jog. iPhone pictures of the screens would be great.
Thanks, any help would sure be appreciated.

To be honest the autotune is working fine as a base setup.
It usually only rise the tilt power depending on the setup lenght.

For exemple, Weapon+action product eklectra+proteus+DSMC1 adaptor+Tiltamax 1000+ Sigma Art 24-35-50 is quite long, so 100% power on Tilt stops the vibrations.

I can't wait to have my Omod, and the sidekick latitude to narrow it down.

Berenger,
Where are you running your filter, expo, and dead band with that set up?

Noticing a lot of panning wobble back and forth some times. I have tried high power on pan and low power on pan and everything in-between along with the same high and low settings on Fallow. And I have changed the dead pan up and down from nothing to usually around 10 to 15 and it still wants to wiggle in the pan axes a very small amount now and then...Any suggestions or favorite settings for a RED WEAPON Leica still glass and a PAG batt on the back setup??
Thanks all. Its looking good just want to get that last little wobble out.

Hello Guys,

I will send e-mails with delivery address confirmation as one before last batch will be shipped now. Last batch will be shipped at end of next month. I'm sorry for that but we have a lot of work with some of our new projects. In last batch we will ship all remaining units.

Best
Peter

I'd like to buy a gimbal but I don't want to pay until the end of next month because I am busy with lots of work. You guys are seriously taking the piss.

Peter,

I have sent you over 30 emails since 12th May asking what the status is on refunds. You have not acknowledge with even a single email to those 30 of mine. I was trying to keep your dirty laundry private - but as you refuse to reply I will drag it out into the open here on reduser.

Can you explain to us all your reasons for holding £3,000 of my money for almost 3 years now - and yet not have the decency to even reply to a single email?
Do you expect us to give you any respect to you as a person and as a business with this attitude to customers?

I am in Europe this month. If I do not get a satisfactory reply from you I will come to your office and stand toe to toe with you and see what your courage and customer respect is then.

In regards to those of you who have taken delivery of your gimbal or are still planning to purchase one my question is: why would you want to deal with such a shady company (and Peter in particular)?. He has proven month after month, year after year to give no respect or honesty to any of us. How do you think things will go when you start needing servicing or parts? There are better gimbals and far better companies to trust your work and money with...

For me I want something for my 6000usd and three years, then maybe I can sell it for something and recover a portion of the dollars spent.

Hello Greg,

I'm very sorry. I will look for your e-mails - I think they can hit my spam box.

I will respond to you shortly.

Best
Peter

All I see repeating are the same excuses for years now. "Sorry for our failure to either communicate or follow-through on our promises, we are too busy with other work."

BeSteady and ACR seriously need to replace some personnel. Different leadership and customer service who are capable, diligent, and with a good and professional attitude.

BeSteady and ACR - there are good people out there looking for work.

If we would like to remain in business we need to develop new products. Right now there are a lot of different companies on the market and we can't stay in the same spot.
I hope you will understand that.
Understood, supported and all. But at the same time, satisfying customers who have paid and especially early supporters should have equal priority, if not higher. It's not THAT easy anymore to believe this is still your top priority (as promised multiple times).

You know, those are the people who will promote your products, who will be interested in your new products. Thats where the money will come from, which will allow you to remain in business and grow. I thought the crowdfunding for The Link might have been a wake-up call for you?

Agreed with some the sentiment being expressed here. I won't be buying anything else from ACR or recommending them to anyone until everyone in this GB has received their units and all refunds have been processed. And yeah, ACR needs to step up their customer service game or it's game over. You can't build a business with just new products. This is why I'm reluctant to buy from DJI but that's a whole other story. I'm rooting for you guys though.

On another note, kind of wish we had our patience rewarded with deals on accessories. Buying a few batteries at full price doesn't exactly motivate me to go out of my way to provide ACR with some requested BTS footage.
