  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BeSteady FOUR Thread

sorry for lack of communication, I was sick for last few days. The weather in Poland is crazy and a lot of people are sick. I'm sorry for that.

To answer to your question - yes, we are shipping units constantly. I will send e-mails to next persons to confirm delivery addresses and presence at those locations to be certain that you will be there to pick them up.

I believe we will be able to finish delivery of units in this month.

We will be shipping cable packs as well - so I will be confirming delivery addresses to people that receive units.

Prior to shipping the cables, are you going to contact those who already have the gimbal? Or do you plan on just shipping them?

Also, will that be this month of Feb, next month?

I recoeved one too - it's related to the Besteady forum - I's assume it's simply a spammer sending a PM to everyone on the BSBoard.

Thanks Andy - I suspected the same conclusion.
It is an issue if a spammer gained access privileges to send out to all of us.
Clicking the link could release the hounds.
Hope the folks at BS / ACR lock this down before it causes anyone an issue...
 
For those of you who received their unit or the notification, what was your number on the original list?
Just trying to figure out where we are in terms of shipping...

The list was not completly accurate if I remember well.

I'm #44 and I received the mail 3 days ago, shipping this week.
I bet ACR is running at 10 a week including QC, so Vincent, you're #53, probably next monday for the mail.
and only ACR knows for the delivery.

Glad to hear and sad to hear I just checked previous emails and Im #45 so should be soon.

Just got my v1 beast back from ACR with the v2 upgrade. As soon as I booted it up I started laughing, the added "The Beast is booting up" voice when you turn on is a nice touch.

Has anyone yet powered their Epic, or accessories, from the new power out Lemo that comes out on the tray? Since I don't yet have the cable to power the RED Afro. A two pin Lemo, I was going to try to design a box with a couple of taps for accessories and a Red Lemo cable, but wanted to first estimate how much runtime I can expect from a large ACR battery with the RED, RTMotion, Hotlink, and Gimbal. Has anyone done any tests yet?
 
Hi Jordan, same here, I´m waiting for the Lemo Connectors to be delivered. I will convert a AB 4-way splitter so i can connect it to the shelf. The cables for my Red are ready.
I hope i can give some feedback early next week.
