  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Possibly true but they've lost my trust and they're going to have to earn it again. And the lack of regular updates isn't helping them. Even if there isn't an update, at least communicate that there isn't an update or that things are on schedule. If it's because they want to maintain their online image and the optics of these forum updates don't look favourably for ACR, get an email list going and send us email updates.

They've got a long way to go on the CS front and I don't see much progress being made there (nobody's contacted me yet with an update via email since I paid last July). Here's to hoping we all get our units... one day.

Not to bring my personal shit in but I bought a BS4 to film my son as he grew up and learned to walk. He's almost 2 now and he's been walking for a while. The twins are up next in a month. Will I miss using it with them too? Not the end of the world but it kind of sucks because its intended use was more for family than work.

I'll just double up what Gunliek said. Every time I check this thread it makes me more sad.

On the other hand it's the poster child for how not to run a business or treat customers. It's also a lesson to people on trusting some startups. It's hurts everybody.
 
I kinda suggest that ACR chimes in with delivery dates here as the next post.

If this goes haywire again, the thread is off and buried.

I totally understand you guys frustration, and this thread is kept open as a service to both parties, but is on a thin leash.

I cannot check it every day to give friendly warnings.

And I think I have been pretty clear on the conditions for this thread staying here at all.

Consider this a last warning.

Hello Guys,

we will receive prototype main boards in next week and we will begin tests with them. I will ask Max to share some more technical information when he will have some to tell me and I will post them here.

I will update shipping schedule when I will receive output of that tests - it will allow us to be specific about dates and numbers.

ok. then i suggest no more posts to this thread until update within a week. And if that update doesn't come, i guess this party is officially over.

if this is not respected, i'll just close this down.

I have absolutely no skin in this specific game - i.e. the BeSteady GB. But, I want to understand the motivation for shutting this down just because the seller isn't posting. I get that is what SHOULD be happening. And I get that people could get upset and THEN things would get out of control. But, why is it so important to keep this struggle out of the"public" eye and what benefit is it, and to whom? If I were a buyer and this were my only hope for information and for connecting to other buyers, I'd feel angry - at REDuser - for cutting me off from the info source, as sporadic as it is.

I guess I am just trying to understand the motivations here so I can be better informed in potential future group buys. :crying:
 
I agree with Terry. Why would you protect BS / ACR over Redusers? This makes no sense unless there is something else at play we are not aware of. I'm sure there's nothing more BS / ACR would like than to see this thread disappear as it shows a complete disregard for the group of people who saved their company.
 
I'll step up and say this thread will remain, though it must stay level headed despite the many reasons to be frustrated with this whole thing.

ACR has had a light response. Let's see where it goes.

Let ACR answer as they have suggested.

There is nothing at play between reduser and ACR at all.

It's just the need to keep things here polite.
