Nice!
So did it go back to what it used to be with the flat cage with mounting holes? That was always my favorite set up. But then the flat mounting parts became grips and then it was all changed completely again to "hanging" grips. Now it's back to flat?
From page two:what matte box and follow focus are on the camera in that pic
Mattebox looks like the Arri MB-20 II to me. The follow focus is harder... maybe a FF-5HD? Looks a little "squarer" than that... FF-4?
I'm also a southern boy but on another part of the world. I second the Andrew's words. My best wishes and keep you positive, Poi. May God be with all of you and your relatives!Poi Boy, I am really very sorry about your wife. I wish you nothing but hope/love for you and your family and I will keep you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers. I may just be a southern boy who is a nobody, but I am sincere.
They shoot with CF. The SD port on the camera is for settings transfer and similar functions.
That's what I meant, thanks Brook! How is CF compared to the others? Will any CF card do?
No... only the fastest CF cards will work. We will certify the ones that do and also offer a RED CF card that is guaranteed to work.

Can you please advise what mattebox and follow focus units are on the camera in this shot?
Also is Red going to provide mattebox and follow focus units for delivery at same time as camera & lenses?
This has already been answered several times in the thread. The mattebox is an Arri MB-20 II and the follow focus appears to be an Arri FF-4.
RED has not announced any mattebox or follow focus units. They have announced that they will make lens motors and a wired control system [the Supergrip] at some point, but no dates or details have been provided.
