Thanks for the updates! It is really good to know PL Scarlets are constantly shipping and there is no hold up on them.

If we ordered a tactical cage with all bits together, is this included in those dates of the single bits? Also curious on redmote. Both ordered mid novemeber. Thanks again!

And Norbert, why in the world would you want canon mount and canon glass if you go PL with the 17-50 haha=].

They are not that expansive to rent. I think if you ask on this forum you find somebody that will rent or sell you theirs.

oops... sorry forgot about that one. Healthy batch of Redmotes go out next week. Hoping to get out of backorder on Redmotes by the end of January.

Seems the only question left is.

How healthy is the production batch of Ai EF mounts? Would it be faster to change my order to the Ti EF mount for my scarlet package?

Or is there a good chance a early order non event Attending customer Nov 3rd 9:00 p.m. would be seeing the FedEx guy before Christmas

did i read that correct and does that mean, scarlets with ti canon mount will not ship before mid january ?

I beleive you may be able to read between the lines here. If you ordered a Ti Canon Scarlet on November 3rd and another ordered a standalone Ti Canon mount on December 15th it would seam fair that a mount would be allocated to the Scarlet first. Therefore if the mounts are out of back order mid January theoretically we could see the Ti Canon Scarlets start shipping very soon. At least that is what I hope as there are only three ahead of me based on the list! ;D

On another topic this reminds me of waiting for a Yamaha MD 8 the first 8 track mini disk recorder. I waited 18 months to finally get it after ordering! The good thing about this was we were able to write the album over that time period. Maybe I'll spend this time writing a script...

@ daniel: because i have all the good canon glasses NOW and AVAILABLE. all of the usm-l zooms and nearly all of the good primes up to the 2,8/400. i´m thinking about a 2nd scarlet body which should be a pl-mount then...

Thanks for the update Jarred. Does the fact that there has been no word on modular assault plate means it's still far off? At this point we just need to know if we should get rid of our DSMC quick release system and go with another lightweight solution or if it's just around corner.
